Hi Client,
Please take note of the following important deadlines:
October Deadlines
- Personal tax returns on extension: Due October 15th.
- C-Corporation tax returns: Also due October 15th.
Reminder: C-Corp returns must be filed every year, even if the company is inactive or has no activity. Penalties apply for non-filing.
Although these are still a few weeks away, it is important to begin the process now. Preparing returns takes time, and many accountants will be fully booked as deadlines approach.
September Deadlines (Only Days Away)
- S-Corporations and Multi-Member LLCs on extension: Due September 15th.
Even dormant or loss-generating businesses are typically required to file, and penalties apply if they do not.
- Quarterly estimated tax payments: Due September 15th.
This applies to:
- Business owners, including Single-Member LLCs
- Freelancers, contractors, and 1099-NEC recipients
- Wage employees who typically owe taxes each year
- Individuals with taxable events such as equity compensation, ISO exercises, K-1 income, bonuses, or other windfalls without proper withholdings
If you are unsure which deadlines apply to you or need assistance, please reply within the next 7 days so we can help you get everything filed on time.
Best regards,
Tax Team
